An expert Lecture by Career Point University

Educational institutes are not just an academic platform for students to learn the knowledge of books but it also prepares them to outperform in their personal development. With this vision in mind, Career Point University organized an expert lecture on the topic, “Achieving excellence in life”. The eminent speaker of the session was Professor Dr. Anil Mehta who is currently working as a professor in the department of Business Administration in University of Rajasthan. Dr. Mehta shared his immense knowledge and experience by giving an inspiring lecture to students from various courses.

Dr. Mehta in his inspirational lecture entailed his valuable thoughts saying, “Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence and Excellence can be obtained if you; care more than others think is wise; risk more than others think is safe; dream more than others think is practical; expect more than others think is possible.” To these remarkable thoughts he added that in today’s era of competition every young mind strive for excellence which is well justified, as it is the utmost demeanour for a well-being to survive in this world filled with advancement. Excellence is required and actually helpful in every field whether it is education, service, civil, pharmacy, aerospace etc. but how to achieve it is a big question as everyone has a different mind-set and way of working. These highly motivating words by Mr. Mehta kept the students captivated and encouraged them to stand up and groom themselves to prove their talent and worth in today’s world which still states the Darwin’s theory of “Survival of the fittest” true.

Government of India is dealing with a major concern on the issue of health care services being faced in various sectors of society. Career Point University organized an expert lecture on Saturday, 25th march, entailing the advancements in innovations and technology in the field of health science. The distinguished speaker of the session, Dr. Don Yansen has landed all over from Harvard University, US, to enlighten the students about the issues and solutions to health care. In his valuable session Dr. Don said that, “Mobile phones can be used to diagnose and cure various diseases effectively and efficiently with the help of application development in IT sector.” He also said that, “Government of various countries now days are increasing their economic budget for health care.” He encouraged the young minds to put their vital efforts into this field to bring out the sense of equality regarding health services in Indian society. Dr. Trupti Desai, who also joined Dr. Don in the session, informed that Jodhpur School of Public Health is going to establish various Public health courses at Career Point University starting from the next academic session.
