A Unique workshop organized by Career Point Pre-Foundation Division in Association with Department of Science & Technology, Kota on 5th to 8th September 12 for students from class VII to X
More then 35 selected students participated in this event. Project Officer Mr. G.L. Garg & NCC Air wing Aircraft Trainer Mr. Purshottam Singh Rathore narrated the aerodynamics concepts , 3.2 cc engine, spare fuel, fuel tank, niddle assembly etc. to all students.
The Curious scientific minds underwent a delighted and memorable knowledge based experimental learning. Students used balsa Wood which is highly lighter wood in the world and mainly used in aircraft design. The Trainer showed various charts & design in front of the students so they can understand the basic engineering concepts of the aeromodel. During the four days participants asked many questions regarding aeromodelling like how aero plane works, how it carries optimum load, which type of forces affect on it during the flight, how the electricity generate in aero plane , how jet plane work, which type of fuel they use etc.
Last day students launched aeromodel at the ground with successful test flight. They also got knowledge about different forces pressurize to aeromodel at the time of flight. Some participants shared their experience with others. Certificates distributed to all active participants. With the closing statement chief guest narrated that Aeromodelling is a costly hobby in india, however it is popular in foreign countries. From last few years with the help of some private organizations, those who are interested in aeromodelling & aviation, participating at international level competition also.
